At Blekinge Nature Management School, students study the Nature Management Program with specializations in Agriculture, Horse Management, and Forestry.

We are now looking for a vocational teacher/instructor to be placed in the Forestry Education.

Blekinge Nature Management School has access to the municipality's production forests totaling 1,100 hectares, and the machinery is continuously updated. We provide students with a broad vocational education with chainsaw and brushcutter, modern forest machines, forest management, nature conservation, hunting and wildlife management, as well as entrepreneurship, which means that it is never far from the classroom to practical work.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Practical teaching in various subjects within Forestry, manually with chainsaw and brushcutter as well as in forest machines. In daily work, forest management, nature conservation, and much more are included in the teaching.

Teaching takes place through theoretical as well as practical lessons, where you are primarily involved in the practical teaching. You will collaborate with other teachers and instructors in the work team and at the school.

The vocational teacher/instructor role gives you the opportunity to combine your professional knowledge in Forestry with pedagogical work. You will be an important person in creating good conditions for students in their future professional lives.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with relevant education and/or equivalent solid experience in Forestry, preferably in combination with pedagogical education. You should have a great interest in teaching young people and want to ensure that all students are given the opportunity to develop according to their abilities. You have a pedagogical disposition and can meet students both individually and in groups.

You are flexible, goal-oriented, and take your own initiatives. You are good at collaborating and have a professional approach. We will place great emphasis on your personality and what you can contribute to our team.

You must have a manual driving license with at least B category.

Meritorious: Chainsaw license AB(C), ADR, Hot work, Green driving license.
